Job Title : Quantity Surveyor – Mechanical

Location : Qatar
We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor – Mechanical to join our growing team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical quantity surveying within the oil and gas industry. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of cost estimation and project management.
Responsibilities: Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for mechanical aspects of oil and gas projects. Analyze and evaluate contract documentation to ensure accurate project costing. Collaborate with project teams to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and risk factors. Prepare and submit contractual claims and variations as needed. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Assist in the negotiation and settlement of final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on mechanical aspects of oil and gas projects. Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations. Proficient in cost estimating software and MS Office Suite.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Professional accreditation as a Quantity Surveyor. Experience working on oil and gas projects in Qatar or the Middle East region.
