Boilers Engineer

NITCO is an official commercial representative of SOFINTER Group (MACCHI AND AC BOILERS) in Qatar with an existing organization to support these activities.

For our Boilers Service Department in Doha, we are interested in meeting candidates to cover the position of:

BOILERS ENGINEER (TECHNICAL SALES).

Scope:

Promotion of sales of Service (inspections and assessments, repair, rehabilitation, maintenance, spare parts identification and supply, emergency operations) of industrial and utility boilers, HRSG, heat exchangers, and steam generation components and systems in Qatar and potentially in GCC.

Requirements:

Mechanical educational background and at least 10 years of experience in the steam generation sector; knowledge of construction quality and safety standards;

Knowledge of technical drawing and main workshop activities for boilers construction, including materials identification and sourcing;

Wide knowledge of operation and maintenance of industrial boilers, their applications, and the reference regional and international market (major players, materials and technical services costs and suppliers, etc.);

Experience in technical assessments and inspections of boilers and related steam generation systems with the elaboration of reports;

Experience in direct coordination at site of repair and maintenance mechanical works for the above, including coordination of manpower and third parties;

Attitude in promoting and pricing the service activities, with direct relationships with existing and potential Clients anticipating needs and requirements; position involves meetings and presentations with external Technical and Procurement Departments Representatives;

Follow up in Qatar on ongoing technical and commercial initiatives in active coordination with the Italian Headquarters.

We are looking for candidates preferably working in Qatar and with a knowledge of the local industrial environment, with driving license, and excellent English.
