Quantity Surveyor – Piping (Mesaieed, Qatar)
Are you a piping specialist with a passion for accuracy and a proven track record in the oil and gas sector?
We are seeking a highly motivated Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team in Mesaieed, Qatar. In this permanent role, you will play a critical role in ensuring project cost control and efficiency for piping installations.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage piping quantity take-offs and cost estimates
Analyze and interpret piping drawings and specifications
Collaborate with engineers and subcontractors to ensure project scope clarity
Monitor and control project budgets for piping works
Manage variations and claims related to piping installations
Experience with commissioning and pre-commissioning activities a plus
Qualifications:
At least 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas or Plant sector (Qatar/GCC preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Hands-on practical experience in quantity surveying
Proven experience in QS subcontracting
Strong understanding of piping materials, specifications, and standards
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)
