Tylos Pharmacy
The role of Pharmacist will serve customers/ patients by preparing medications, offering counsel on pharmacy products and services, and will make sure the operation runs smoothly by following brand guidelines and procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Services Patients/Customers by providing medications, giving pharmacological information, counseling them on medications and products, and reviewing and interpreting physician orders.
• Providing information by answering questions and requests of healthcare professional during inspections.
• Remove outdated and damaged products from the pharmacy inventory.
• Complies with Qatar as regulated by the Ministry of Health.
• Maintains current registration, studies existing and new regulations by the Ministry of Health and advises management on needed actions.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Compounding and dispensing medications, as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitoring customers’ drug therapies, advising interventions, and informing customers of any potential side effects.
• Instructing customers on how and when to take prescribed medications. Conducting health and wellness screenings.
• Providing immunizations, and other medical services, such as taking blood pressure, temperature measurements, and checking blood sugar
levels.
• Keeping accurate customer records.
• Ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
• Completing operational requirements of the pharmacy, including verifying order entries, maintaining records of controlled substances, charges, and removing expired and/or damaged drugs from the pharmacy’s inventory.
• Adhering to applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
• Performing other administrative tasks when needed.
Pharmacist Qualifications/ Skills
• Bilingual- speaks Arabic and English
• Administering Medication
• Sound judgement
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage processes efficiently
• Attention-to-detail
Education & Licensing
• Bachelor of Pharmacy from an accredited university
• Qatar Counsel for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) License will be a strong plus
