Medical Sales Representative’s role is to promote and sell medical consumables. Customers can include doctors, nurses, and pharmacists. The Medical Sales Representative shall increase product awareness, answer queries, provide advice and introduce new products.
– Get oriented with the internal processes of all departments/business partners at MVT and gather the required knowledge to have detailed information that helps in the marketing of the available products.
– Coordinate with relevant staff to collect monthly consumables and assist in the procurements process for the health centers.
– Organizing appointments and meetings with the community- and hospital-based healthcare staff
– Identifying and establishing new business opportunities.
– Negotiating quotations, invoices, and contracts
– Demonstrating or presenting products to healthcare staff including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists
– Undertaking relevant research
– Meeting both the business and scientific needs of healthcare professionals
– Maintaining detailed records
– Attending and organizing trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings
– Managing budgets
– Reviewing sales performance
– Writing reports and other documents (per MVT procedures).
– Bachelor of Science Degree – Medical-related field is a MUST.
– Valid residency permit and valid driving license in Qatar are a MUST.
– Excellent English Speaking and Writing Skills.
– Arabic Speaking and Writing Skills are NOT required but are a PLUS.
– Prior experience in medical sales.
– Excellent planning and time management skills
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Strong analytical skills
– Demonstrated high learning agility
