Position: School librarian (secondary)
Requirements:
– An undergraduate degree or post-graduate qualification in Librarianship along with a teaching qualification
– Membership Chartered Institute of Library Information Professionals or equivalent
– Experience in using library management (LMS) Systems such as Turnitin, Managebac, Moodle, IB OCC and others used by secondary teachers and pupils
– Must be Proactive and imaginative approaches to the provision and promotion of Library services
– Knowledge of young people’s literature and interests will be a plus,
– Awareness of British school curriculum including AS Levels
– Knowledge of the IB Diploma and Certificate including the requirements of the Extended Essay
– Native speaker of English
