Risk Assurance Lead

Risk Assurance Lead.
Location: Qatar

The right candidate will have;
Minimum 15 years’ experience in a technical functional domain in either Rail transportation, aviation, healthcare or road and infrastructure sector of which a minimum of 4 years working in an enterprise or risk management field.

Professional Degree in Enterprise Risk Management or related discipline.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
Support the risk committee in making sure that the ERM framework is operating effectively.
Provide support, reporting and assurance on the management of risks especially the key or high business risks, including the effectiveness of the controls, identified treatment plans by various departments.
Support departments in the proper identification, assessment, evaluation, reporting, coordination, control of risks, noticeably the high-level key strategic risks.
Support in developing and maintaining the IRMS.
Provide financial analysis and advice in regard to any activity required by ERM function or the Risk committee requirements.
Provide on-going advice and support to staff at all levels in development of appropriate knowledge of risk and fostering positive risk culture.
Any additional activities in relation to ERM management and Risk assurance.
Make sure that the major business risks are being managed appropriately and provide support and control on the risk management process making sure that the internal controls are operating effectively.
Liaise at all levels to ensure that risk management tool used to update risks is well utilized and maintained.
The job holder is accountable for timely delivery of the intended ERM objectives.
