HR Director
Location: Doha, Qatar
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
– Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent.
– Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
– Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely fulfilment of vacancies.
– Establish relationships with recruitment agencies, universities, and industry networks to build a talent pipeline.
2. Talent Management and Development:
– Design and implement talent management programs to identify, develop, and retain high-potential employees.
– Create career development frameworks, training programs, and succession plans to nurture employee growth and advancement.
– Conduct regular talent assessments to identify skills gaps and talent development opportunities.
– Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management, career planning, and employee engagement.
3. Compensation and Benefits:
– Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
– Conduct benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive salary structures and benefits packages.
– Partner with finance and executive teams to manage budgeting and forecasting compensation-related expenses.
4. Succession Planning and Leadership Development:
– Lead succession planning initiatives to identify and develop future leaders.
– Implement leadership development programs and mentorship initiatives to cultivate a pipeline of talent for key positions.
– Work closely with senior management to assess leadership capabilities and address succession gaps.
5. Corporate Culture and Employee Engagement:
– Foster a positive and inclusive corporate culture aligned with the organization’s values and mission.
– Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
– Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create a supportive and equitable work environment.
– Implement employee feedback mechanisms and conduct regular surveys to gauge employee sentiment and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
– Proven experience as an HR Director or senior HR leadership role, preferably in a greenfield and turnaround environment.
– Extensive knowledge of recruitment, talent management, compensation strategies, succession planning, and corporate culture development.
– Strong understanding of local labour laws and regulations in Qatar.
– Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR systems, controls, processes, and procedures.
– Proven track record of building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
