We are seeking a Venture Development Associate with 2-3 years of experience in the startup ecosystem, ideally with a tech background. The successful candidate will support the Project Manager in driving growth and success for our portfolio of startups.
Responsibilities:
Assist in evaluating, selecting, and onboarding startups for our programs.
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for our startups.
Support the development and implementation of growth strategies for portfolio startups.
Track progress and provide updates on startup performance to the Project Manager.
Organize workshops, training sessions, and networking events for startups.
Maintain relationships with mentors, investors, and partners while seeking new collaborations.
Assist in managing initiatives and projects related to startup growth and development.
Oversee internal and external communications, guaranteeing prompt and efficient information exchange between startups, mentors, and other stakeholders.
Tackle a variety of miscellaneous tasks, such as organizing meetings, generating reports, and supporting ad-hoc projects to maintain seamless operations within the venture studio.
Exhibit flexibility and resourcefulness in handling a wide array of tasks, efficiently adapting to various project requirements, and actively contributing to the overall success of both the startups and in-house projects in our portfolio.
Requirements:
2-3 years of experience in the startup ecosystem, preferably with a tech background.
Solid understanding of startup processes, including funding, product development, and marketing.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business, technology, or entrepreneurship.
